Johnathan Dax – It’s Christmas Time

You know what we are like, sooner or later in early November our first seasonal outpost of the year would be here. Such are the fine arrangements on Johnathan Dax’s festive track ‘It’s Christmas Time’ has resonance for all year round. The generousity in his vocals is clear, really got into reindeer jumper and eggnog mode but there’s more than than because he has brought his festive love with him (Olivia Claire) and the combination makes for the warmest of yuletide hearth s- the kind we expect of our December songs but rarely get and have to rely on the old standards as a result. ‘It’s Christmas Time’ has created something new and I love it as a result.
