Means that ‘Wide Weary Eyes’ has a Kate Bush quality but moves along at a canter that takes it beyond a soundtrack for around the winter hearth. In short it fills us with bursts of joy in a manner that only music can achieve, so while ‘Wide Weary Eyes’ doesn’t shy away from the tough realities it makes for a sterling rallying cry to push ahead and make the best of the hand we’ve been dealt.
