Layperson – I Want To

First impressions were that we were hearing something from the very great Teenage Fanclub and that is is the second impressions too for Layperson (Portland’s Julian Morris) do a neat line in retro sounding alt rock and all the harmonies you can take on board in a single listen. ‘I Want To’ is head to toe full of charm, a laidback quality so it feels like a summer berth might be the best place for it but even in this later part of the year Layperson are capable of lighting up the room thanks to those chiming chords and an East Coast sound that forever has its happen side out.
