Jaroslav 3000 – Insiders

There is a sharpness to ‘Insiders’, a likeability too it must be said and most of all a retro leaning manner which means that the track could have come from yesteryear but which so clearly has consistency today – especially for alt-rock leaners like us. And this French duo also see fit to include a chorus with the sense of melody a running theme throughout because for all the lo-fi qualities ‘Insiders’ still feels as warm as a heavy togged duvet in midwinter. One that we’re going to be coming back to time and again because noisy ear candy like this is rare and needs to be embraced whenever we find it. KH
