Doc Emmett – Drifter

That opening had a manner that woke us up early to Doc Emmett’s need to stand apart and so ‘Drifter’ is refreshing because it continues to challenge the narrow lines that you normally find an indie banger housed in. This is anything but, a voice from the future (or more correctly New Jersey) with his hand in the AI pie but mostly taking instruction from the instinct that comes from within. I could get lost in this kind of stuff for days but it might be exhausting so this short burst feels like a renewal of sorts. Boundaries being pushed and we hope the heave is retained in Doc Emmett for a long time to come. KH
