TigerFoot – One In A Million

Such a summer of love feeling about ‘One in a Million’, it has that kind of soft undertow that reminds me of Hull’s Salako from way back, though there are instances of Noah and the Whale too. The tender dispatches are quite something from this mysterious Oxford act, folk as can be but with a gentle hand-holding manner between the two singers so that we might recapture the essence of romance ourselves after it has slipped through our fingers on so many occasions down through the years. ‘One In A Million’ moves with grace, offering comfort and come the end we feel like the only reasonable outcome is to shed a salty tear.
