The World Famous – Everyday Fear

‘Everyday Fear’ sure is lively fare, of the kind that initially reminded me of the Cure but there is more R.E.M. to what the World Famous are about once the track settles into its busy groove. Despite the furious momentum this Boston act have a soft and tender heart and those two worlds in close proximity is a rare enough quality. I do like me happy sequences and there are plenty of them here, a band in full flow and having the time of their lives while they are at it. It’s rub off on all who get to hear it. KH
