Sid Simons – Three Days

Those beats reminded me of ‘I Am The Resurrection’ by the Stone Roses but of course NYC’s Sid Simons always intended to bring this track a lot more down a glam rock or even light punk direction. And he sings as if beaming a full smile and that feels like something that is a requirement for anyone who uses music as a crutch against a world that doesn’t halt in kicking them in the shins. ‘Three Days’ really is a tonic, sure it has classic rock strokes akin to Primal Scream but the overall effect is of a warm feeling deep inside the pit of our day and for that we need to celebrate it crossing our path.
