Pony Girl – Highways

‘Highways’ has an ambient and immersive opening gambit but there is less infringement and more of an an arm around the shoulder when it comes to main thrust of this tender work from Ottawa’s Pony Girl. They do ever so well in generating an indie pop swirl because ‘Highways’ has such a tender manner, unobtrusive and there merely to offer levity to our day. And they succeed and we relax and these minutes pass by in a most soothing of manners. KH
