Plastic Harpoons – Meet Me In The Middle

It might move at a glacial pace but ‘Meet Me in the Middle’ sure does carry a wheelbarrow of personality, the guitars low slung so that Santa Barbara’s Plastic Harpoons lead man can make hay with our thought processes. The set up is quite something, never rushed and with a centrepiece that will have certain types in a swoon. I’ll include myself in that set of types because the mood had been set, we’d settled ourselves in and all it needed was a chorus to add the cherry on top. Plastic Harpoons achieve it and it comes fashioned in a production that has such an organic sheen you can almost pick out the grain underneath. Loveable. KH
