Jeff Moller – Raphi and Me

Can’t say it quite got me straight away but come the second listen ‘Raphi and M’e found the sort of groove that showed a depth, easy listening but a lot going below the surface and that hint of melancholy that gives tunes with jangle an uplift. I felt Grandaddy feelings but it is clear that War on Drugs are a more comparable sound. Like both of them so this swell from Jeff Moller was always going to chip away at us until we were in a slow form of rapture. Definitely a keeper to call upon time and again to kickstart the reset.
