There is a whole lot of action to ‘Meet Your Maker’, the kind that reminds me of peak Arcade Fire – you know those times when every second of the way we had no idea what was coming next. And really that is in a nutshell what is exciting about new music, acts relying on their inner instinct no matter where it takes their output. Great Howl are an uproarious 8-piece from Austin and this effort of theirs takes a leaf out of the Polyphonic Spree while it pleasantly rampaging through our studied concentration.
