Swim Jeans – Lemonade

With a title like that you’d expect Swim Jeans to be of a summery disposition and ‘Lemonade’ sure does have that lively interplay about it. Tropical qualities in fact, levity in Aaron Tap’s vocals and a soundtrack all around that is just made for trips to the coast with the top down. And if smiles weren’t forthcoming they will surely bloom as this track works its jaunty magic on all and sundry. In a world that doesn’t give us too much reason for jumping for joy Swim Jeans seek to reverse the slide and ‘Lemonade’ is a bubbly gulp in that direction. Pop as you like from this LA duo (Dan Dratch is the other 50%) but with a sparkle in its eye every step of the way. KH
