Low Girl – Pockets

You can tell there was a soaking in tears before this point, no other way to explain the mood of ‘Pockets’ but then what has to be taken into account is the resilience of Low Girl. That is the only way to explain how this track pivots from all that early forlorn introspection to a citizen of the world and capable of making the best of any situation. So there is a proper sense of rejuvenation in the space of a single song and in the process we are imbued with a sense of heroic inner resolve ourselves. A lovely dreamy vocal from Sarah Cosgrove makes things that we not thought possible a reality. A special work. KH
