Livingmore – Places

Well this LA duo produce the kind of guitar entrance that had own ears cocked to Livingmore’s potential. The layered vocals certainly didn’t pull the plug on our interest either, in fact they added the requisite dreaminess to steer us clear of something that could have hit its stride in quasi easy listening territory a la Fleetwood Mac. There is something very accessible to Livingmore but they twin it with a vitality that means tracks like ‘Places’ offer a route out of the ordinary and into the realms of stirring the imagination.
