Oh what intricate playing we have here, a definitely leaning in the math-rock territory and as a route to get with the speed of the day ‘DKA’ sure does offer a roadmap. The playing is one thing, the singing positively punk-rock and with a pair of singers giving it goodo Feefawfum have outdone themselves in offering up an arrangement that is both exuberant and so detailed to have our heads filled with all sorts of eternal joy. Yep, this is just a juggernaut of ideas, barrelling forward and pleasingly with a sense of melodic purpose so that every time it feels like we are going to fall into a sea of noise and rage Feefawfum wrestle us back to safety. Phew, what an absolute banger this is – like the B-52’s after several bottles of hard bourbon. KH
