Being Dead – Holy Team

Well this is definitely a break for the different but then we should have expected as much from Austin three-piece Being Dead who turn what could have been a rummage through punk’s box of tricks but instead give us something pure of spirit to the point of a quasi religious experience in the Ennio Morricone mould. Not our usual diet of indieisms then but interesting as can be because we have a thing for updated spaghetti western soundtracks, especially where pop is central to the cause. Out there and handsomely weird but in there in terms of bagging our heart the mission is a complete success. KH
