3FIVE3 – Love Like A Grain of Sand

It has a tumble down Street like quality, a bit more tropical guitars but with vocals that are proper Mike Skinner and you know I always had a think for ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’ which ‘Love Like A Grain of Sand’ approximates…to a degree. In other words it draws comfort from unexpected quarters with playing that has a honeyed and hypnotic flow to get us thinking twice about where we are in life and how we can address the brakes that have been applied to all our dreams. Lots of life lessons and dressed up in a believable skin (ner). Beautiful formation (!) and against expectations the doors are set to swing open eternally for Elliott Godden’s 3FIVE3. KH
