From//October – Somewhere Quiet

‘Somewhere Quiet’ sure does come in on a tide of forlorn qualities, playing and singing that might be etched in sadness but it still retains a masterful capacity to be hopeful. Or at least that is what I heard, the guttural response from something that is not all that removed from OMD of yore, swells of electronic movements and guitars that shimmer as if rebounding off the tranquil sea. It is quite a beautiful few minutes from Dion Tiktak. KH
