Waliens – Everybody (Looks A Bit Like You)

Australia’s Waliens have a giddiness to their way, evident from seconds in but what is also there is their capacity for flagrant arrangements with ‘Everybody (Looks A Bit Like You)’ like something that could have come from the golden age of rock. Waliens do have a lovely shimmer going on, it’s like summer has crossed their path and they want to show the rest of us what it feels like. Reminded me of Apartment’s ‘Fall into Place’, that same energy and the ceaseless effort to leave us in a better place come the end. Job done! KH
