The Gromble – Saturday

‘Saturday’ does have all the will in the world to shake us from our stupor as it splendidly finds its feet and gets into a form of gallop that moves up through the gears to a chorus that has plenty of wind in its sails. The Gromble sure do show an appreciation for those people who want to be thrilled, the brass sequences wowing us, because there are several steps to a crescendo here that has to be taken several times. This is pop allure, this is a summer soundtrack with the top down and it is just too fulsome of flavour to have us doing anything other than a jig of joy because of it. KH
