Far Caspian – Pet Architect

Had me properly reminded of the Drop Nineteens but most definitely down a 90’s rabbit hole with all manner of slacker, dreampop and general DIY aesthetics to go for it. So no wonder we were drawn in, feeling the slightly claustrophobic qualities because behind the close control is a streak of melody that makes it easy for those of us who can’t sing to hum along. In other words it has hypnotic status and one we want to repeat over and over. The Radio Dept. have some competition it seems, Ireland’s Joel Johnston is on the cusp. KH
