This LA trio have got a view of the kind of spectacle that us mere mortals aren’t capable of conjuring but what Bocce do is put it into a form that we can all draw joy from. ‘Scared’ is such a cavalier work, full of wonder but also flush with that personality and character that so sets Bocce apart. There is romance, there is-in-your face sort-yourself-out demands from Sarah Shotwell and at the end we feel compelled to grab each other by the hand and waltz until the sun goes down.
