Anya Van Rose – Lucky Stars

Now that is a big picture, the kind that is destined for the great indie halls because there is a lovely mix of guitars and soft ethereal vocals and when done well that combination will never go out of fashion. And so this could have arrived from the 90’s right up to 2023 and beyond. What sealed it for me was the icing that was that chorus, always the bit of edge to what is clearly an pop opus with a torrent of guitars in tow. A lovely effort from Ohio’s finest, anthem status incoming. KH
