Left Iris – Crash

At first I thought we were dealing with Michael Knight like post Belle & Sebastian matters but it seems Left Iris (Dublin’s Finn O’Reilly) is even more ambitious than that and ‘Crash’ feels like an indie folk pop rhapsody as a result. The main output from that is a dollop of joy because the songwriting is so stellar with production values to match. Summer is finally here and this song would appear primed to make the most of it because it blooms and it blooms (with Charlotte Hatherley of Ash adding vocals along the way) until the bouquet is impossible to resist.
