eurelle – Such is the Sadness

You’ll register the interesting personality to the riffs on ‘Such is the Sadness’, to a degree that it almost fills us in on the narrative before Neil Eurelle arrives. When he does he reminded me of Kevin Patterson from 80’s gods Fiction Factory and Eurelle have the sort of impact that doesn’t pale in comparison to such classic behemoths. In short this song has a anthemic balladry about it with all the tunesome effects that go with such things. Surprised myself given its retro tones how much it won us over, such a fine slow burner. KH
