Blondes – Beautiful World

There’s something in the water alright, an undertow happening beneath the surface so that Nottingham act Blondes have that indefinable quality of sounding like they are moving the game forward while still offering immediate anthemic qualities that will appeal across the board. The vocals are top to tail harmony laden and all around the players make a glorious din of jangle and rhythmic beats. Stirring stuff all told and reminder of Thirteen Senses, a much undervalued act of yore. KH
