Tide Bends – Pace Yourself

Projects boundless energy that is for sure, from the getgo too there is a rampaging chord assault so we’re up to full tilt before we’ve taken a breath. Great to see and hear it must be said, especially when Tide Bends can take the edge off proceedings owing to a singer who could have had a second life with the Monkees. In fact ‘Pace Yourself’ could have come from that band, circa their ‘Head’ LP such is its sixties fastidiousness. There is just so much to admire here, a little psychedelia circa early Verve had me salivating but that is just one element of a hugely impressive track. KH
