Midnight Pilot – Broke Again

There is melancholy wherever you look here but ‘Broke Again’ has a hands in the air and feeling better because it makes it feel as if we are all in this together. Nashville’s Midnight Pilot do achieve so much with the slow movement here, reminding of Simon & Garfunkel or at least at ease in the glacial pace because of the warmth and depth to the rolling harmonies. Already sounds like a classic golden hour weepie, beautifully done from start to finish. KH
