Bryan Cooper – Robots on Mute

‘Robots on Mute’ has plenty Pavement like turns in the playing here and beyond that a little of the snarky Malkmus narration to give us commentary with bite to move beyond the usual diet of romantic entanglement. If I was into poetry then this is where I’d look for, from an act who can articulate with no chance of boring us to tears. A right little stormer, joyfully dispatched and just our kind of scene because it plays it from the book of awkward types. KH
