Pine Barons – Frantic Francis

Have to say there is a liveliness on ‘Frantic Francis’, but then there should be with a title like that. The kind of lively that would get you excited about music all over again and that is done with the pitter patter of electronic foraging initially because a most fragile of singer’s takes over and treats us to reasons to be joyful. The effect is a winsome kind of piece of rhapsody from this Philadelphia act that is the business for stripping away the bombast and getting us back to basics. ‘Frantic Francis’ has the charm to have us besotted.
