Dylan Seeger – Seems Like (You Could Use a Fade Out)

There is a lovely lolloping quality to ‘Seems Like (You Could Use a Fade Out)’ and it reminds me of the Coral, a band from Liverpool who have the song craft but deploy it in their own idiosyncratic manner. I felt the same here with New York based Dylan Seeger and that is a good thing because there is a bright wonder to what he does. In fact I would say it is positively incorrigible and the kind we need to applaud at every turn for just being itself. A little delight, that will also have Badly Drawn Boy fans in a lather. KH
