Bosola – Worth The Wait

Must say the first band to enter my head was the Jam though there is probably a good deal more lightness in the vocals to ‘Worth The Wait’ to break it free of that comparison. But there is punk here from this Newcastle trio and it is retro as can be, probably going a good deal more Teenage Fanclub as it goes. And such things are just a boon for 90’s afficiondos like us, chords, sprawl, ramshackle and vocal interaction that finds the time to offer the boys and the girls room to express their abundant charm. Love it to misty-eyed levels and there is something very Flying Nun records about the whole thing. KH
