King Bug – Lights

Yes what it tells me is that King Bug are ready to scream blue murder but produce it in a manner that is rhythmic and a boon for those of us on the constant hunt for noise that threatens to spiral out of control but always avoids advancement beyond the precipice. Feedback, noise and all out wonderments to be absorbed on ‘Lights’ and so good was it that 3 minutes hardly seemed enough. A little bit of U2’s ‘October’ and ‘Out of Control’ era going on here, guitar wise it is early Edge and firing on all cylinders. King Bug only started out in late 2022 so this is an incendiary first foray from the Brooklyn troupe. KH
