Hotspit – Melting Point

There are twin set of obvious delights from Richmond’s Hotspit on ‘Melting Point’. The playing for one with all that architectural virulent jangle and of course a lead singer who can evoke melancholy and hope all in one to give us a shot of realism and dreaming at the same time. ‘Melting Point’ is effortlessly dispatched by Hotspit too, languid but with the firepower to effect a beating heart that knows how to experience love. Reminded me of the Innocence Mission but with more rock qualities to separate these two fine bands. KH
