Elron Gardy – Drug Store

‘Drug Store’ quite sounds like some prodigy kids putting music together after growing up on a diet of Lemon Jelly. And there is more besides thanks to the Chris Martin like vocals which keep things on the down-low but are capable of a flourish of a chorus that gets us to the heart of the matter. In other words it feels fulsome of pop flourish but has an experimental bent in there too, stirring the pot so nothing feels rehashed or convenient. Elron Gardy has worked his magic on me that’s for sure, evet that bit in the mid-section where howling at the moon seemed like the appropriate response. What a flippin’ marvelous epic this is – and all conceived in Elron’s garden shed – magical. KH
