Brodie Milner – Hedonist

There is a frantic and agitated manner to what Brodie Milner but then a title such as ‘Hedonist’ was always going to have a spark about itself. For me the real joy comes when the guitars jump from out of the bushes and we get a start every time to a degree that Hull’s Brodie Milner might have happened upon a proper anthem here. I will certainly be giving it plenty of reruns, the lyrics are uncommonly cerebral, because it is infused with personality and gusto to offer a lift every time. KH
