Frau – Shoreline

The rhapsody that Danish band Frau invest in their music is clear on ‘Shoreline’ for there is hardly a sequence where it felt that they weren’t going at it full pelt. And if anything the drama ramps up the deeper we get into this song, so much so that I felt the odd heart palpitation here and there. Not good for a vintage fellow like myself but worth it when it comes to music because of the rare occasions when an act can summon that kind of fluidity. This is a good ‘un alright and with a chorus that has already lodged itself so very cranium side I felt compelled to reach for the superlatives. Taken from Frau’s EP ‘Slowly Twist My Ankle’. KH
