I took a little listen, decided I needed to be less distracted to take the breath of gentle folk that ‘Parallel Roads’ offered us. And was I glad that I did because this is ideal fare for the December times we find ourselves in and our need to break free from the celebrations to lavish in this Scottish duo who have the end of year tidings going for them but without the bombast and tiresome tinsel and church bellisms for a change.
