Giddy jangle and immediately we were sitting up in our chair as Blue Canopy suggested they were indie pop to the core, further embellished by Portland’s Alex Schiff who exudes warmth of personality and the presence of ‘Bright Spot’ had us thinking that there is still perfect innocence in this harsh world of ours. Yep, a definite case of smitten with the sound coming from our stereo, an alt movement that extends the summer season to all year long. KH
