Ntl Landmarks – Car Rides

The jangle is real and for that we are thankful being the Teenage Fanclub fans that we have been for the longest time. The singing from this Newcastle, New South Wales act have us thinking Alvvays and Camera Obscura so all that combined goodness meant that ‘Car Rides’ was always going to be something for us. The yearning in the vocals is clear but it is beautifully combined by the Byrdsian playing all around. Something precious with echoes of the past but definitely brightening up our present. KH
