‘Love Letter’ sure does hit a comfortable flow within seconds of alighting at our plaform, but then is it any surprise when you are dealing with an act as talented as Memphis’ Laura Lang (aged just 16!). Another one in a growing line of singles that just bristles with intent, playing that feels all encompassing and a voice (slightly Bic Runga) that can dominate even in such sterling company. Effortless indie-rock of the kind that will always have us smiling in delight, great to still have acts in 2022 who are this persuasive. KH
