Harper – Swanface

Anyone with a penchant for dreampop will be enamoured by what Leicester duo Harper have dreamed up here. Not least for ‘Swanface’ is so fulsome, the vocals are dreamy in their own right but what sets it apart is the psychedelic and near shoegaze arrangement which is suggestive of an act who really can’t fail because they have a pitch perfect approach to bedroom harmonies, heartrending 90isms and a hummable core. No surprise that we had falled completely for it before the first minute was out. KH
