Goodtree – Star Jasmine

There’s some classical flecked country psychedelia going on here and that is a collection of words I never thought I’d use but then Goodtree are probably the kind of act who have listeners checking their tastes and shifting them to fit the glacial effort that is ‘Star Jasmine’. It might just have arrived at the right time too, at the latter end of the year as things slow down and we need a soundtrack to marry up with all that looking back contemplation. A drift full of banjo, e-bow, harmonica and vocal soothing we can fall in behind for sure. KH
