Velveteen – If You Could

I am a shoegaze diehard, have been since the early 90’s so anything that has a version of the noisy haze and near hidden vocal will always prick up our ears. London’s Velveteen appear to be quite the connoisseurs of the fabric of noise too, the kind that brings melody to the party even though there is absolute collossus of feedback swirling all around. I guess what I am trying to say is that ‘If You Could’ is an absolute beast, dreamy and capable of rivalling the best of the scene that celebrated itself. Glorious. KH
