The Horn – Do It Now

It did remind me of the Killers I have to say, so set on an anthemic quality and though the Horn have a singer in Jonny Taylor who breaks clear of any Brandon Flowers comparisons their 80’s centered sound just brings us back to ‘Hot Fuss’ and the like. ‘Do It Now’ excels by offering a chorus from nowhere and that means it should have currency in a plethora of boltholes from gyms to indie dives – amde for getting excited to as per their moniker. I’d be in the latter just lapping this up because it is easy on us, a happy collection of sounds with that break for the border jolt at its heart. An absolute keeper this one, what a debut! KH
