The madness of sniffing Tender Glue’s tunes, full of noisy rapture and close jangle that gives us more than most 4-minute spells of entertainment. But ‘At The Same Time’ is just stuffed full of indie glamour, vocals from Tom Gluewicki that sound like they’ve got the fuel to fly cross channel and instrumental sequences then that takes the air out of the tyre of all that blustering excess. It is beautiful, a song at cross purposes but arranged by an artist who know exactly how to make such things work. KH
