Sweet Home – Oxidation

It has a proper loud vernacular alright, shoegaze chords tripping the light fantastic and with the kind of veracity that means we could listen to them all day long. Of course it would be a 90’s dreampop aspiring effort without the light and floating vocals to contrast with the My Bloody Valentine riffs and feedback. ‘Oxidation’ is put together exceedingly well and can stand on its two feet among the best that this cherished genre has to offer. Floppy fringe in place, eyes closed and shoes ready for all the attention in the world. KH
