S.C.A.B. – At The Same Time

Never quite knew what was coming down the tracks on this one because S.C.A.B. have a creeping sensation to their approach. We shouldn’t have worried though for there is anthem drive here without any of the undue hassle of an act too grumpy not to give us a tune. It quite reminded me of Sugar in fact but with more tropical values so we get chiming chords amid the necessary heft in those leadman (Sean Camargo) wails. Sounds vital, an act with an internal combustion engine that will ensure they break free from the herd owing to their burning ambition. Cultured loud behaviour. KH
