Eugenia Post Meridiem – Around My Neck

Sure is a bouncy kind of act (from Italy) that crosses our path here and that is not just the domain of the percussion either as we have in this singer someone with a character that could rival Bjork such is their nose for individualism. The consequence is a piece of music that changes tact several times, leaving us flat footed as a result but elsewhere a fire is lit at the possibilities. Spirited we were through the gear changes that you’d expect from a full album, rather than just a single work. Phew, out of breath I’ll need to circle back several times to pick out what I’ve missed.
